Clark Hammond Elected to Board of USA Swimming as At-Large Director
We are pleased to congratulate our attorney Clark Hammond for being elected as 1 of only 3 newly elected members of the USA Swimming Board of Directors, in the capacity of At-Large Director.
Clark has previous experience serving on the USA Swimming board, is a certified National Championship Referee, served as a FINA referee for 8 years, is a past chair for the National Officials Committee and currently serves as the Safe Sport Chair and as a member of the Board of Directors for Southeastern Swimming.
USA Swimming is the national governing body for the sport of swimming in the United States. The organization’s eligible voting members of the House of Delegates (HOD) elected two At-Large Directors at the first-ever Annual Business Meeting, while eligible voting athletes elected one athlete representative.
The 3 newly elected voting members of the 15-member USA Swimming Board of Directors are:
Maya Andrews – Athlete Representative – 4-year term (second consecutive term)
Clark Hammond – At-Large Director – 4-year term
Ira Klein – At-Large Director – 4-year term
